Child- I have the meanest mom in the world. I'm not just telling. While my friends ate sweets for their meals, I had to eat cereal, toasts and other food. When they had soft drinks and burgers for snacks, I had to eat her home made food.
Mom-I loved you enough and wanted you to to realize that you cannot be healthy with fast food.
Child- My mom always contented on knowing where I was going all the time. I was like framed in a prison.
Mom- I loved you enough to ask what you were doing/ going and with whom. Because I was afraid to see you facing dangers.
Child- My mom always wanted to know who my friends were and she wanted to know what I did with them. She contended that if I said I would be gone for an hour, I would be gone for an hour or less!
Mom- I always protected my silence and let you discover that your friends were bad and back stabbers. Because I never wanted you to get disappointed infront of those reckless friends
Child- I had to clean my room, make my bed, learn to cook, wash the dishes and sort of cruel jobs. I think she would lie awake at night thinking about more things for us to do.
Mom- Children must learn that their parents are not perfect. Also one day when they become parents they should know to do the household work. I loved you enough to teach you all the works that you have to do in near future when you become a wife/parent.
Child- She always wanted us to tell the truth about my friends and everything. She could read my mind like she had eyes in the back of her head too.
Mom- I wanted to let you conclude the responsibility for your actions even when the penalties were so rude. you almost broke my heart by lying.
Child- She wouldn't let my friends hoot at the gate. They had to come up to the front door so that she could meet them. Because of her I missed out on lots of things other kids experienced. I haven't been caught for any illegal activity, vandalizing other's property. It was her fault.
Mom- Most of all I loved you enough to say no, when I knew you would hate me forever for doing it. Those were the most hard battles of all. But I'm happy I won them, because in the end you won them growing up as a well behaved kid.
Child- No I'm a grown up, educated and honest enough to face the world stronger. I'm sure that I will be doing my best to be mean for my kids like my mom was.
I guess that is what wrong with the world today. It just doesn't have enough mean moms!
I LOVE YOU MOM, YOU OPENED MY EYES
